Here We Go!

2:00 pm - Leave TCU

5:20 pm - Leave DFW

8:00 am - Arrive in London

10:00 am - Leave London

12:30 pm - Arrive in Barcelona

WE MADE IT!

After long travels, Margaux, Rachael, "Mama" Karrabi, and I touched down in Barcelona. We taxied to our hotel and refreshed a bit. After a quick break and a little refresher, we decided to take advantage of our one afternoon in Barcelona.

We began to walk to our first destination. It was about an hour walk to where we wanted to go. We decided to walk in order to get the full affect of Barcelona, Spain. As we began to walk, we saw the most charming little tapas restaurants and little shops. We weaved in and out of populated parts of the city to cute little neighborhoods. To say the least, this city is dreamy... especially with the sun setting.

4 miles later, we reached our destination... Park Guell! "Mama" Karrabi (the sweetest TCU advisor who has been nothing short of a blessing, translator, and mother figure to us) asked us, "So what is the story behind this place? What is the history." We looked at each other and laughed as we confessed that we had no idea--- we just knew the Cheetah Girls came here.

We explored a bit and decided that our tummy' were hungry. So back to downtown Barcelona we went. By the time we got to dinner, we had walked 9 miles and we were feeling proud of ourselves. We enjoyed a yummy seafood Spanish dinner on the Mediterranean Ocean.

At this point, the four of us have officially hit our Zombie point. We were exhausted... to say say the least. Time for a warm shower and a good night's rest for our next adventure to..... Vic, Spain. :)
